T-Mobile Unveils New 5G Home Internet Options

T-Mobile is expanding its 5G home internet offerings with two new plans: Home Internet Plus and Away.

Home Internet Plus caters to traditional home internet users, offering a gateway router and a mesh access point to provide Wi-Fi coverage throughout your house.

Plus, you’ll get 24/7 tech support for added peace of mind. This plan launches on April 26th for $70 per month with autopay.

The Away plan is designed for mobile users, like RV owners and campers.

It provides a portable 5G hotspot with enough power to connect up to 64 devices, perfect for staying connected on the go.

Unlike the Plus plan, Away isn’t meant for permanent use in one location.

Choose between 200GB of data for $110 or unlimited data for $160 per month (with autopay). Away hits the road on May 8th.

These plans highlight the growing importance of fixed wireless internet services for carriers.

T-Mobile’s innovative approach with Away positions them as a competitor to satellite internet providers like Starlink.

With the 5G era in full swing, expect to see more carriers offering similar plans to cater to diverse customer needs.
